TORTURED BY PSYCHOLOGISTS?

There's nothing new about psychologists and physicians torturing fellow human beings-the only thing that's different is their new found & exposed in the spotlight 'JAILHOUSE CONVERSION'....

.....What I want to know is - why does this have to be POLICY?
Why isn't TORTURING human beings just considered inhumane and criminal? WHERE do the doctors draw the line? At what point does the jail house become the doctors office and at what point does the DEMONIZED, but NOT LEGALLY CHARGED or FOUND GUILTY prisoner, become the individual in treatment?

The reason is because the PSYCHOLOGISTS involved are so completely UNABLE to IDENTIFY with SUFFERING and so completely LACKING in COMPASSION that human lives - maybe like yours and mine - are CHEAP and DISPOSABLE! Plus the fact that possible incarceration is a life altering consideration for those who torture - regardless of how many phd's they have. That's exactly what's meant by JAILHOUSE CONVERSIONS! I'm skeptical when it happens in the penitentiary and I'm skeptical when it happens in the doctors office.

There is a lot of suffering in the world and we can't put an end to all of it, but if we see it and choose to turn away and harden our hearts anyway-it's unforgivable!

Money is getting tighter for most of us everyday, but there are still things you can do to alleviate the suffering some of God's other creations! Below are some ideas suggested by the HUMANE SOCIETY of the UNITED STATES. A little goes a long ways. If you've ever spent time around animals then you know how much they appreciate it-because THEY TELL YOU!

* Give a little bit. Donate food, old blankets, towels, or other needed supplies. Contribute to one of its special programs.
* Lend a hand. Volunteer your time. Bathe and groom the animals, walk dogs, or play with cats. Stuff envelopes for a mailing. Help publicize an event.
* Find that special someone. Choose your next pet from your local shelter, which has many wonderful dogs and cats, in different shapes and sizes, just waiting for a permanent, loving home.
* Help spread the word. Tell your friends about your shelter's services. Promote animal safety and responsible pet ownership. Celebrate National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week during the first full week of November.
* Be a responsible pet owner. Keep current identification on your dog or cat at all times. Spay or neuter your pet. Always keep your dog or cat properly confined or supervised. In addition to the basics—food, water, shelter, and veterinary care—give your pet lots of love and attention.
* Vote for the animals. Support legislation to protect animals. Contact government officials and urge them to support pro-animal legislation.
* Be a hero. Report animal cruelty and neglect as well as injured or stray animals. You may prevent suffering and even save a life.
* Teach your children well. Instruct children in how to care for animals properly and how to treat them with kindness. Set an example by doing the same.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHELTER BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY SUPPORT THE LIVES THAT ARE DEPENDENT ON THEM!

McCain whipping up hatred of blood thirsty Christians!

There's little doubt that Sarah Palin might be the most unqualified running mate McCain could have chosen, but it is now clear that John McCain himself is not even minimally qualified to lead the most powerful nation on earth. Neither Sarah Palin or John McCain have the leadership skills, temperament or basic level of decency to be president. They're a disgrace to the American people and they're a disgrace to the world community. They make a mockery out of our elections. Most every word out of their mouths contradicts what they said just a few minutes before. That's why they don't want to allow journalist to interview them because they've told so many lies so many times even THEY don't know what the truth is. It's no wonder other countries distrust us. We give them eight years of the war mongering George Bush and prisoner of war torturing Dick Cheney and now we want to cram a third term down their throats of the same incompetent and fanatical theocrats in the persons of John McCain and Sarah Palin. The way McCain has managed his campaign and nurtured his rabid supporters tells us a little about who John McCain REALLY is. Like W. before him McCain just wants his place in history and rest assured - they WILL have their place in history-right along side of Adolph Hitler. Bush has given us eight long years of whipping up his blood thirsty born again Christians into an emotional frenzy of hate and loathing for their fellow man that John McCain seems all too willing to encourage and continue. His supporters shout out threats of death to Senator Barack Obama calling him a 'traitor' an 'arab' and 'kill him' a scene that looks to me like something right out of the Christian Crusades and Inquisition. Then he just stands there with that smug grin of self satisfaction pleased that at least his own supporters have bought into his lies. I have to keep pinching myself to make sure I'm awake. Who would believe that in the 21st century a major presidential candidate wants to win so badly he would foster and encourage his mindless followers to spew threats of hate and 'kill him' to somebody who disagrees with him - if only by his silence. Silence = death! John McCains campaign looks like something out of Nazi Germany or the theocratic middle east. It's the result of an unprincipled Republican party that's been hijacked by anti-life and fascist Christians who hate everybody who doesn't share their supernatural beliefs and want nothing more than to bring about this 'last days' scenerio they believe has been prophesied in their Bible, which is probably the most violent book ever written. Actually Revelations was not about a society thousands of years in the future. It was what the people of that time believed was going to be a war IN THEIR OWN DAYS with the Romans. They believed that THEY were living in the last days at THAT time. Christians have never been able to live in peace with the rest of society because the foundation of their religion is one of hate and persecution. It's just who they are! But to have a major presidential candidate stirring up emotionally uncontrollable rage in people who clearly have some mental health issues is reckless. If it's not a crime-it should be! Americans are much better than that and we deserve a better candidate and in fact we have one. His name is Barack Obama.
